dead ends and overprotection

This is a fanart based on/inspired by euphoria's artwork in Taku's route. The impression I get from that artwork can be expressed as "dead ends and overprotection", and yes, the way euphoria uses straight lines is also very striking to me.

To elaborate a bit further, I've noticed that euphoria always uses a frontal or 90-degree angled perspective when drawing (and, pardon me, so raw and honest I could cry).

I'm sure everyone already knows this is my interpretation of that painting, but that doesn't mean I haven't added or incorporated some of my own additional understandings. If you'd like, please take a look!

In general, while there are many ways to interpret euphoria's painting in Taku's route, for me, it will always be about "preventing the red from spilling into the square." It's not about bandaging the red, nor about preventing the red from flowing out, but rather "preventing the red from seeping in."

Adding the connections I have about Taku's route to point 1 has led me to the two main keywords: "dead ends" and "overprotection."

Someone once said that the lines drawn outside the square look very much like bandages. I think that's a very intriguing possibility as well, since Taku is constantly "bandaging" Towa, haha. But beyond that, it also gives me a strong sense of "dead end" as well.

Towa is trapped in a glass cage under the guise of "protection."

I really, really love the detail of the blood-stained silk covering Towa's eyes, which were already being covered. Please do recognize this, haha.

And the portrait on the paper is Taku for real, not just any sketches, I assure you.

I'm not sure if the image is clear enough, but Towa's eyes are open. I'm very fond of this detail. Towa's eye is open, oh dear, and I even carefully drew the eyelashes.
